What Underwriting Supports

Underwriting supports the RTP Executive AI Council — a closed, invite-only decision forum for senior executives accountable for AI strategy, governance, and risk inside their organizations.

Council members include CEOs, CIOs, COOs, General Counsel, and operational leaders from mid-market companies across the Research Triangle. They meet quarterly under Chatham House Rule to pressure-test real AI decisions before those decisions reach boards, regulators, or procurement teams.

Peer-Only. Off the Record. Decision-Focused.

The Council is not a conference track, networking dinner, or vendor program. It exists to surface tradeoffs, failure patterns, governance friction, and decision standards in a protected setting.

2026 Council Schedule

Sessions run 1:00–4:00 PM.

Exact venue and participant details are shared privately to preserve confidentiality.

Why Underwriting, Not Sponsorship

Our programs work because executives trust them. They trust them because no one in the room is trying to sell them anything. Vendor-neutral means vendor-neutral.

Underwriting lets organizations support what we do without compromising independence. It is the public broadcasting model applied to executive decision support.

Traditional Sponsorship

  • Logo placement, promotional placement, and stage time
  • Access to attendee lists and direct introductions
  • Influence over agenda or content direction
  • Commercial presence in the room
  • Attendees feel sold to

Underwriting

  • Factual acknowledgment only
  • No contact with participants
  • Complete editorial independence
  • No commercial access
  • Attendees feel protected

Why This Matters

Executives cannot discuss real AI failures, legal exposure, or internal political risk in public forums or vendor-sponsored events. The Council exists to surface those realities safely, across industries, before they appear in revenue reports, litigation, or regulatory filings.

Underwriting enables the continued operation of a neutral decision forum where high-stakes AI choices are examined honestly — creating a rare source of early market intelligence about how organizations are actually adopting, blocking, or struggling with AI.

Editorial Independence

Underwriters have zero influence over Council content, member selection, or recommendations. Vendors are discussed based on merit and executive experience.

No Commercial Access

Underwriters do not receive attendee information, introductions, speaking opportunities, or any form of sales access to Council members.

Acknowledgment Only

Recognition is limited to a brief, factual statement. No promotional language. No calls to action.

What Underwriters Receive

Underwriters support the Council’s continuity, discretion, and quality. In return, they receive a narrow, non-commercial association with a trusted executive decision forum and periodic anonymized insight derived from Council sessions.

Underwriter Relationship (Private Details After Inquiry)

The underwriter overview, cadence specifics, and any associated terms are shared only after an initial fit conversation.

Who Should Consider Underwriting

This model works for organizations that benefit when business leaders make better AI decisions — regardless of which specific solutions they choose. It is a fit for firms and institutions that value neutrality and want to support executive decision quality without commercial conditions.

Good Fits

  • Risk, governance, and compliance organizations
  • Enterprise AI infrastructure and MLOps firms confident in merit-based competition
  • Professional services firms supporting executive decision-making
  • Foundations and education-aligned institutions supporting leadership development

Not a Fit

  • Organizations needing lead lists or direct introductions
  • Companies seeking a speaking slot or product demo time
  • Brands wanting promotional placement or calls to action
  • Any form of commercial presence inside Council sessions

If you need leads, speaking slots, or promotional placement, traditional sponsorship elsewhere is a better fit. If you want to support trusted executive decision support without commercial conditions, start a conversation.
