What We're Not
We provide strategic guidance and education. We don't provide legal advice, financial advice, or technical implementation. If you need those things, hire the appropriate professionals.
Your Responsibilities
Show up prepared. Engage honestly. Respect confidentiality (especially Chatham House rules in our sessions). Pay on time. Don't share our materials without permission.
Our Responsibilities
Deliver what we promised. Maintain confidentiality. Give you our honest perspective, even when it's not what you want to hear. Stand behind our work.
Payment
Briefings are paid in advance. Advisory engagements are invoiced per our agreement. Forum memberships are billed monthly or annually. We accept credit cards and ACH. Net 15 on invoices unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations
Briefings: 14+ days, full refund. 7-13 days, 50% or credit. Under 7 days, transfer only. Advisory: per your agreement. Forum: cancel anytime, no refunds for time remaining in your commitment period.
Intellectual Property
Our materials, frameworks, and content are ours. You can use what you learn—that's the point—but you can't reproduce, distribute, or resell our materials without written permission.
Confidentiality
What's shared in our sessions stays in our sessions. Chatham House rules apply to all peer discussions. We expect the same respect for confidentiality that we provide.
Limitation of Liability
We provide education and advice. You make the decisions. We're not liable for outcomes of decisions you make based on our guidance. Our maximum liability is limited to fees you've paid us in the relevant engagement.
Disputes
North Carolina law governs. Wake County courts have jurisdiction. Hopefully we never need that paragraph.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of our services means you accept the current terms.
